Kitchen Gadgets, the top 10
Gadgets are on the market to make life easier, just how useful are they?
10. The Rubik’s cube salt and pepper shakers. A must have for all the retro lovers and with each cube being the exact size as the original back in 1980 you cant go wrong.
9. The plate that heats and cooks your food. However brilliant this may sound it is really only capable of cooking an egg or two and that’s only if you like it fried! It is not the most attractive of tableware as it has a cable running down the back of it. Not for those who love their stylish Designer Kitchens.
8. The trebuchet toaster which quite literally catapults your toast onto your plate. A great way to find something to laugh about in the mornings as you see you’re toast fly onto the plate. Although sounding brilliant there really isn’t a point as I’m sure crumpets and hot cross buns still get stuck and you still end up burning your fingers attempting to get them out
7. The energy saving juicer is at number seven! Turning the handle is a bit tiresome in the mornings when you want the juice so it's best left to the afternoon hours. Harder to use but more satisfying as you are saving small amounts on the electricity bill.
6. Rotato express peels all the vegetables for you. It’s not made as easy as it sounds as the item has to go in the correct position or it will not peel.
5. The Darth Vader toaster is a must have for all Star Wars fan as it actually inserts an imprint of the Sith lord himself onto your toast. This is a simply brilliant product for Star Wars fans. You can’t go wrong with a bit of Star Wars in the morning
4. A block that you put knives in stops germs from spreading. Bit of a time waster if you wash up like you should.
3. For those of you who love technology this is great for the kitchen as it lets you put recipe’s onto it for reading purposes. Just pop all your recipe’s from the net straight onto the reader and you can cook top meals for hours on end without even having to open a cook book!
2. The flatshare fridge is a brilliant idea and what it is a fridge with several doors leading to a different section of the fridge. A good invention for people who are always disagreeing over who bought what. however there isn't much point when you already have seperate shelves on a normal fridge?
1. The most useful of all products on the list is the Toastabags. They save the time and effort of washing up afterwards. All you need is the Toastabag, the toasted machine can be thrown in the bin¬. With the Toastabags all you need to do after you have finished is simply wipe the bag, no washing up whatsoever.
However is someone that has an interest in Bespoke Kitchens really going to bother with any of these items? Is it really worth the money. To be fair most of them are a complete waste of time and money with very little point to the gadget whatsoever.
