Cheating- The Real Story

Have you noticed your partner getting home at odd times in the night? Do you notice the amount of company functions that your partner has gone to without you? They take their “friends” out more often then they use to? These signs could prove that there is more than just working going on.

Some Common Signs of Cheating

Is money missing? If your partner is hiding bills, only tells you the amounts to be paid, locks bills in files that you cannot get into, shreds them, or even has them sent to work, there is probably something going on that you don’t know about. Maybe their attitude toward you or other things change? Most often, they don’t want to be around their family, and their money seems more important.

You feel avoided. They feel annoyed by kids, and their job. They become lazy and secretive. They get defensive when you ask them about affairs that things of that nature. Their daily schedule begins to look different to you, and they leave suspicious items, like gift cards and gifts, laying around. You get yelled at for looking through their cell phone or the PDA. There could be unknown numbers or photos on these items. Your partner could start coming home late, and they could smell like alcohol.

Other signs of cheating include them picking fights, stomping out of the house, not wanting to shop with you, not wanting to come with you to visit your family, and “forgetting” their wedding ring. Your partner will smell different, and care more about what they look like than they normally have. They work on their days off and on weekends, and their work hours are longer then normal. They don’t answer their phone when you call, ever. Their phone seems used more then normal, and they recieve messages at times that are just ridiculous.

Your partner may tell you that they aren’t cheating, you are. They may be more interested in your schedule, so you never catch them in their affair. They won’t want sex as much as you do.

When it boils down to it, you need to listen to your gut feeling, no matter what your heart is saying. You may get hurt more if you don’t.
